Nobody else audits the adult internet's privacy promises. Sindexed does it continuously: the Ghost Rating runs three sourced checks against the published policies of every platform we track, does the policy clearly grant data deletion, commit to anonymous transactions, and accept crypto payment? Every verdict quotes the platform's own policy text with a source link and a check date. This report is the first aggregate cut of that audit, and the headline is brutal: one platform passes all three checks. Forty-eight could not demonstrate a single one.
Key findings
- 1. Only 1 platform in 68 passes all three checks. Across the 68 platforms we track, exactly one, Candy AI, clears all three Ghost checks in its published policies. Six more clear two of three.
- 2. 48 of 68 platforms could not demonstrate a single privacy commitment. For 71% of platforms, not one of the three checks could be verified as a pass from the platform’s own published policies, the policy either fails the check outright or does not address it at all.
- 3. Only 17 of 68 policies clearly grant data deletion. Data deletion is the check platforms most often pass, and it still fails or goes unaddressed in 3 out of 4 policies. For a product category built on intimate data, 75% of platforms make no clear, quotable deletion commitment.
- 4. Anonymous payment is nearly extinct. Nine platforms in 68 make a verifiable commitment to anonymous transactions; three explicitly fail it; the remaining 56 leave it unverifiable or inapplicable. Crypto acceptance is rarer still: two passes, seventeen explicit fails.
- 5. Silence, not malice, is the industry default. The dominant status across all three checks is “unverified”, the policy simply does not say. Users are not being lied to; they are being told nothing.

A pass requires quotable policy text, which we publish alongside a source URL and check date on the platform’s listing page. “Unverified” means the policy does not address the question, we do not guess.
