Every month, Sindexed measures where America's adult search demand actually goes. We call the measure Heat, and the Heat Index is its flagship: a platform-by-platform map of real US search visits spanning six categories, AI porn generators, AI sex chat, hentai and manga, porn games, cam sites, and OnlyFans creators. Forty million visits a month, one league table, no opinion involved. This is data you will not find assembled anywhere else. Journalists and researchers are free to cite any figure on this page with attribution and a link (see licensing below).
Key findings
- 1. The adult internet draws 40.3 million US search visits a month. Across the full index, total measured demand is 40,254,057 monthly US organic visits (July 2026 cycle), and that is search demand alone, before a single direct visit or app open is counted.
- 2. AI adult platforms are now 10.7% of tracked demand, 4.3 million visits a month. AI sex chat platforms (3,517,533) plus AI porn generators (786,416) total 4,303,949 monthly visits. Two years ago this category barely existed.
- 3. People want conversation, not images: AI chat out-draws AI generation 4.5 to 1. Character-based roleplay chat (JanitorAI, SpicyChat, CrushOn and peers, 3.5M combined) dwarfs image and video generation (786K combined). The companion is the product; the picture is a feature.
- 4. JanitorAI now out-draws every cam site on the internet except Chaturbate. At 1.66M monthly search visits, JanitorAI pulls 38% more demand than Stripchat (1.21M) and is the 5th most-searched adult platform in the index overall, behind only Chaturbate and three legacy hentai sites. An AI roleplay chatbot has become a bigger search destination than almost the entire live-cam industry.
- 5. Adult search is winner-take-all. The top 5 platforms account for 68.2% of all tracked demand; the top 10 account for 83.0%. Within cams, Chaturbate alone is 72.4% of the category.
- 6. Legacy formats still dominate: hentai out-draws all AI adult platforms combined, 4 to 1. Hentai and manga sites total 17.3M monthly visits, the largest category in the index, ahead of cams (16.0M). The AI wave is fast, but it has not caught the incumbents.
- 7. Star power is smaller than the tools. The 12 most-searched OnlyFans creators in the index combined (219,700/mo) draw about one-seventh of JanitorAI alone.

Methodology
Heat measures US organic search demand reaching each platform's domain, re-measured on the 1st of every month (this snapshot: July 2026). It captures search demand, not total usage, direct traffic, apps, and paid acquisition are excluded by design, which is why this is a demand index rather than a size ranking. Platforms enter the index by editorial selection; platforms without measurable demand are excluded from totals rather than estimated. The on-site Heat score shown on rankings is a log-scaled index of these raw figures; this report uses the raw visit counts. Data sources and full detail: methodology.
