Worldwide Search Demand for Adult Platforms: The August 2026 Heat Index
Every month, Sindexed measures where the world's adult search demand actually goes. We call the measure Heat, and the Heat Index is its flagship: a platform-by-platform map of real search visits spanning six categories, AI porn generators, AI sex chat, hentai and manga, porn games, cam sites, and OnlyFans creators. This is the first edition measured on the worldwide basis, dual-index verified, and the first with like-for-like month-over-month movement. 118 million visits a month, one league table, no opinion involved. Journalists and researchers are free to cite any figure on this page with attribution and a link (see licensing below).
Key findings
- 1. The adult internet draws 118.2 million worldwide search visits a month. Across the full index, total measured demand is 118,229,201 monthly worldwide organic visits (August 2026 cycle) over 72 measured platforms. This is the first index published on the worldwide basis; the July report measured US demand only (40.25M). The two totals describe different lenses, not growth, and should not be compared.
- 2. Cam sites lost 4.1 million monthly visits in a single cycle. The category fell to 58,768,819, down 6.5% since the late-July measurement, the only category in the index that shrank. Stripchat itself dropped 18.6% (21,887,033 to 17,822,136) and still holds the #1 spot in the entire index.
- 3. Hentai is closing on cams. Hentai and manga sites total 37,950,774, up 10.3% (+3.5M) in one cycle. The gap between the two biggest categories narrowed from 28.4M to 20.8M monthly visits in a single measurement.
- 4. DLsite doubled and took the porn games lead. The licensed doujin storefront went from 1,667,953 to 3,411,781 monthly visits (+104.5%), overtaking F95zone (2,296,302) as category leader. nhentai grew 89.2% (3,000,205 to 5,675,269). The two biggest gains in the index both belong to legacy platforms, not AI.
- 5. AI adult platforms are 9.7% of tracked worldwide demand. AI sex chat (9,580,805) plus AI porn generators (1,910,879) total 11,491,684 monthly visits. Conversation still out-draws generation 5 to 1: the companion is the product; the picture is a feature.
- 6. On the worldwide lens, SpicyChat AI is the biggest AI adult platform. SpicyChat draws 4,890,822 monthly worldwide visits to JanitorAI's 2,973,839, putting them at #8 and #11 in the overall index. The July US-basis report had JanitorAI first among AI platforms; measured worldwide, the order flips.
- 7. Concentration is real, but softer worldwide than it looked in the US. The top 5 platforms account for 55.9% of all tracked demand and the top 10 for 75.4%. Within cams, Stripchat alone is 30.3% of the category.

Methodology
Heat measures worldwide organic search demand reaching each platform's domain, re-measured monthly (this snapshot pulled 3 August 2026) and verified against a second independent index. It captures search demand, not total usage: direct traffic, apps, and paid acquisition are excluded by design, which is why this is a demand index rather than a size ranking. This is the first edition on the worldwide basis; the July edition measured US demand only, so the two reports are separate snapshots, not a continuous series. Month-over-month deltas on this page compare the 3 August pull with the late-July pull, both worldwide, so they are like-for-like. OnlyFans creators are measured by worldwide name-query demand rather than domain traffic. Platforms enter the index by editorial selection; platforms without measurable demand are excluded from totals rather than estimated. The on-site Heat score shown on rankings is a log-scaled index of these raw figures; this report uses the raw visit counts. Data sources and full detail: methodology.
